About the position

The Corporate Sales Development Representative at Workday plays a crucial role in driving demand generation and building quality opportunities for the sales team. This position involves strategic prospecting across target accounts, utilizing various outreach methods to engage potential customers and communicate the value of Workday's offerings. The role is designed for individuals who are motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of fostering relationships with prospects while collaborating closely with Account Executives.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy various prospecting approaches across target accounts.
  • Partner with Account Executives to build quality opportunities for Workday field sales.
  • Reach out to potential customers to share Workday value messaging.
  • Discover the needs of prospects and their organizations.
  • Drive valuable pipeline by identifying interested and qualified potential buyers.
  • Foster relationships between accounts and their Workday Account Executive.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Relevant experience or internships in prospecting, inside sales, business development, or related fields preferred.
  • Highly motivated, tenacious, self-starter.
  • Ability to hold intelligent and meaningful executive-level conversations.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com, Outreach, and ZoomInfo is a plus.
