About the position

The role of a Corporate Sales Development (CSD) representative at Workday is pivotal in driving the company's growth by deploying various prospecting approaches across target accounts. The primary goal is to partner with the Account Executive to build quality opportunities for Workday's field sales team. As a CSD representative, you will be responsible for contacting potential customers, sharing the Workday value messaging, and discovering the needs of the prospects and their organizations. This involves utilizing a combination of email, phone calls, Marketing Qualified Leads, social selling, and even face-to-face events to drive valuable pipeline by identifying interested and qualified potential buyers. You will play a crucial role in championing the relationship between the account and their Workday Account Executive, ensuring that the needs of the customers are met while promoting Workday's innovative solutions. In addition to prospecting, the CSD representative will be expected to contribute to the overall vision of the Corporate Sales Development Team, which aims to build a world-class demand generation engine through quality pipeline coverage and develop an impactful talent pool for Workday. The role requires a high level of motivation, tenacity, and the ability to engage in resourceful and significant executive-level conversations. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential, as is familiarity with tools such as Salesforce.com, Outreach, and ZoomInfo. Responsibilities

  • Deploy various prospecting approaches across target accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or 1+ years equivalent work experience.
  • Experience or internships in prospecting, inside sales, business development, high technology exposure, marketing, direct sales, or IT consulting.
