About the position

As a Corporate Sales Manager at Amex GBT, you will be responsible for establishing relationships and securing a Corporate Client base with annual Gross Booking volumes of $3M or less. This role focuses on acquiring Mid-Market clients, building influential relationships, and driving revenue growth by demonstrating Amex GBT Egencia's superior software and services. You will work collaboratively across teams to ensure client success and identify cross-selling opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new sales from prospective clients and support the implementation process.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales, transaction, and Key Performance Indicator targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities and pipeline progress.
  • Develop deep knowledge of Amex GBT Egencia products and services and deliver compelling presentations.
  • Respond to leads from marketing efforts and develop self-generated opportunities.
  • Work cross-functionally with Account Management, Marketing, Business Development, and Implementation teams.
  • Overcome objections and secure commitments from prospects.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of sales experience in a SaaS and/or travel consultative environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in pipeline management, preferably with Salesforce.
  • Ability to build and prioritize a pipeline of opportunities based on value and sales cycle length.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and networking within professional societies.
  • Demonstrated competitive, driven attitude and adaptability to different situations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication and relationship building.
  • Ability to identify client needs and configure solutions that deliver value.
  • Understanding of market/industry key competitors, challenges, technology, trends, and regulations.
