About the position

Kelli's is seeking a Corporate Sales Trainer who will play a pivotal role in managing, training, and ensuring accountability within the inside sales team. This position is crucial for maintaining adherence to established procedures and processes while keeping the team focused on priorities set by the Director and VP of Sales. The ideal candidate will have a robust management background and a proven track record in sales, demonstrating the ability to hold team members accountable and foster their development to achieve set objectives. The Corporate Sales Trainer will engage with salespeople on a daily basis, providing one-on-one coaching and support. This role requires the development of a structured cadence for individual evaluations, training sessions, and accountability measures. The trainer will also be responsible for reviewing the team's daily workflow to maximize productivity, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing improved methods to enhance performance. Listening to recorded sales calls and coaching team members on their selling skills will be a key part of the role, as will ensuring that CRM entries are accurate and that territories are managed efficiently. Collaboration with the VP of Sales to create new processes aimed at increasing sales effectiveness is essential. Additionally, the Corporate Sales Trainer will manage a small book of existing customers, although cold calling will not be a requirement. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about sales, possesses strong analytical skills, and is not afraid to challenge the status quo to drive results.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Salespeople daily in a one-on-one situation.
  • Develop a cadence for working with individuals that ensures evaluation, training, and accountability.
  • Review the team's workflow during the day to ensure the highest level of productivity.
  • Identify inefficient processes and practices.
  • Develop and distribute better methods to increase productivity.
  • Listen to recorded calls and coach individuals to improve their selling skills.
  • Review CRM entries to ensure proper procedures are being followed.
  • Ensure territories are worked in an organized and efficient manner that maximizes each territory's potential.
  • Collaborate with VP of Sales to develop new processes and procedures to increase sales effectiveness.
  • Handle a small book of business of existing customers, no cold calling.

Requirements

  • Prefer a bachelor's degree but will consider direct experience in lieu of one.
  • 3+ years of sales experience preferably in phone or direct sales experience (prefer B2B).
  • 3+ years of Sales Management experience.
  • Sales Call Center experience is a plus.
  • Excellent computer skills including extensive experience with CRM tools, creating spreadsheets in Excel and presentation tools in PowerPoint.
