About the position

The Corporate Sales Trainer at MarketStar is responsible for leading and developing comprehensive sales training programs for both new hires and existing sales staff. This role focuses on creating engaging training content and facilitating training sessions, both in-person and virtually, to enhance the sales team's skills and performance. The Sales Trainer will assess training effectiveness and collaborate with sales leadership to tailor training solutions that meet the needs of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead comprehensive sales training programs for new hires and existing sales staff.
  • Develop and update sales training materials, including manuals, presentations, and e-learning modules.
  • Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions both in person and virtually.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to identify training needs and develop tailored training solutions.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to sales team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Stay up to date with the latest sales techniques, tools, and industry trends to ensure training content is current and relevant.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Trainer or similar role.
  • Certification in sales training or related areas.
  • Experience in developing e-learning content.
  • Established background with related work experience in a sales environment (Learning Development, Sales Enablement, Inside/Outside Sales).
  • In-depth knowledge of sales processes and methodologies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to adapt and shift priorities as needed.
  • Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in using virtual training tools and platforms.
  • Self-motivated and resourceful, with the proven ability to multi-task and operate successfully under tight deadlines and time pressure.
