About the position

The Corporate Senior Trainer is responsible for enhancing employee efficiency and effectiveness through various training methods, including instructor-led sessions, e-learning, and on-the-job coaching. This role involves designing and developing training materials, conducting training programs for all staff levels, and facilitating new employee orientation. The ideal candidate will have significant corporate training experience and a strong understanding of adult learning principles.

Responsibilities

• Conducts training programs for all levels of staff
• Designs and develops training curriculum for all levels of staff, including needs analysis and creation of training materials
• Acts as a liaison for the training department between internal business partners and external vendors
• Advances innovative business practices to increase productivity and performance
• Documents new and existing classes according to instructional design standards
• Keeps abreast of training trends to ensure incorporation of best practices
• Facilitates execution of enterprise initiatives and change-management projects with a learning component
• Develops new e-learning courses and updates existing courses using Articulate Storyline
• Creates articles and communications for L&D programs
• Facilitates New Employee Orientation programs and follow-up sessions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Education, Business or related field
• 5-10 years of combined training design and delivery experience
• Experience with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline
• Ability to work independently and contribute to team goals
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with current PC and Mac desktop productivity technology/applications
• Familiarity with high technical level skills (e.g. HTML, Windows, Oracle, CMS)
• Excellent presentation skills
• Knowledge of adult learning theory concepts and principles

Nice-to-haves

• Certification in training disciplines from a recognized certification agency (e.g. ASTD, SHRM)
