About the position

The Corporate Support Engineer role at FactSet is an entry-level position focused on providing technical support to employees. The successful candidate will leverage their knowledge of computer software, hardware, and mobile devices to enhance employee productivity and efficiency. This role involves troubleshooting application issues, managing hardware installations, and performing maintenance on conferencing technology, both in-office and remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Field desk-side support issues from users, including application troubleshooting and configuration.
  • Install and upgrade software and hardware for users.
  • Manage computing resources in remote locations.
  • Conduct office walkthroughs and perform on-site conferencing technology maintenance.
  • Upgrade and repair user and conference room hardware.
  • Travel to remote US and international offices as needed.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or higher in Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • 2 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Experience with Windows 11, MacOS, iOS, and Android.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
  • Basic networking experience (wired, wireless, cellular).
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50lbs.
  • Availability for domestic and international travel, up to 20% of the time.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications such as A+, MCITP, N+, or PowerShell experience.
  • Scripting experience.
