About the position

The Corporate Support Engineer role at FactSet is an entry-level position focused on providing technical support to enhance employee productivity and efficiency. The successful candidate will engage in troubleshooting, hardware and software installation, and maintenance of computing resources, both in-office and remotely. This position offers exposure to various technology stacks and career advancement opportunities in technology support, systems administration, and management.

Responsibilities

  • Field desk-side support issues from users, including application troubleshooting and configuration.
  • Install and upgrade hardware and software as needed.
  • Manage computing resources during desk/office moves.
  • Conduct remote US and international office visits for support.
  • Upgrade and repair user and conference room hardware.
  • Perform on-site maintenance of conferencing technology.
  • Assist with office walkthroughs.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or higher in Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • Availability to work full-time in-office, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
  • Experience with Windows 11, MacOS, iOS, and Android.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
  • Basic networking experience (wired, wireless, cellular).
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications such as A+, MCITP, N+, or similar.
  • PowerShell or other scripting experience.
