About the position

The entry-level technician/support engineer at Corporate Support Services (CSS) will leverage their knowledge of computer software, hardware, and mobile devices to enhance employee productivity and efficiency. This role involves providing desk-side support, troubleshooting applications, configuring and installing hardware, and managing computing resources in various locations, including remote offices. The position also includes responsibilities for on-site maintenance of conferencing technology and occasional travel for office visits.

Responsibilities

  • Field desk-side support issues from users including application troubleshooting and configuration.
  • Install and upgrade software and hardware for users.
  • Manage computing resources in remote locations.
  • Conduct office walkthroughs and perform on-site conferencing technology maintenance.
  • Upgrade and repair user and conference room hardware.
  • Provide support during desk/office moves.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or higher in Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Availability to work full-time in-office, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
  • Experience in Windows 11, MacOS, iOS, and Android.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
  • Basic networking experience - wired, wireless, cellular.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to support users in a diverse environment.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50lbs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications such as A+, MCITP, N+ are a plus.
  • PowerShell or any other scripting experience is a plus.
