About the position

Our client designs and manufactures advanced, award-winning technologies including driveline and transmission actuation systems, emissions control systems, safety systems, and security and monitoring systems for vehicle OEMs. They are looking for a Corporate Technical Recruiter to join their team. The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for coordinating salaried recruitment activities for full life cycle recruiting: recruit and screen the most qualified candidates by using creative sourcing strategies. The Corporate Technical Recruiter role will develop and implement creative strategies to attract candidates. The role will also support the corporate HR team members as needed. The Corporate Technical Recruiter must have prior agency fully desk recruiting experience along with utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter to fill technical reqs.

Responsibilities

  • Screen resumes/applications and interview candidates
  • Assess and screen applicants based on their knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions
  • Prepare offer letters
  • Support Sr. Corporate Recruiter in onsite interviews for salaried positions and other site-based recruitment needs
  • Make recommendations and implement sourcing, recruiting, advertising, and all other strategies that could possibly attract candidates and increase the talent pool
  • Develop connections with various candidate sources
  • Accountable for filling positions in a timely manner and continual awareness of the external candidate market
  • Review and collaborate with Sr. Manager, Corporate HR and leaders on staffing to evaluate, prioritize and create action plans around staffing gaps and hiring needs
  • Provide additional support to all members of the HR team as needed
  • Maintain quality service by adhering to organizational standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 3+ years of experience working with high volume recruiting in a Human Resources function, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Previous experience in full life cycle recruiting activities for engineering and corporate function positions
  • Ability to communicate effectively, build relationships, and influence others
  • Excellent customer service skills and an ability to work effectively within all levels of the organization
  • High ethical standards and an ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality
