About the position

The Corporate Trainer (Learning and Development) role at Reser's Fine Foods focuses on developing leadership talent within the organization. The position is responsible for creating an engaged learning culture, delivering leadership development training, and facilitating various curriculum and programs to enhance organizational strength.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates program activities as part of Reser's GROW program for internal leadership development, including onboarding new participants and ensuring program sustainability.
  • Monitors programs to ensure effectiveness and track progress.
  • Provides individual or group coaching sessions for leaders to support the GROW leadership development program.
  • Ensures program activities support the development of Reser's leadership competencies and align with the company cornerstones.
  • Operates with a high degree of emotional intelligence, connecting with people and building strong relationships across diverse audiences.
  • Leads through the ability to influence, enthusiasm, and inspiring leadership, collaborating effectively across functional areas.
  • Implements improvements in systems, processes, and procedures to increase effectiveness.
  • Delivers developmental training to leaders across the organization, including programs such as Reser's Grow Program, Insights Profile, DISC, and 360 feedback.
  • Works independently and exercises sound judgment in all activities.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and openness, adapting plans as organizational needs change.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
  • Prior experience coaching leaders, delivering training, and program management.
  • Experience with adult learning principles.
  • Familiarity with standard leadership concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products and general office equipment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications in tools such as Insights, DISC, 360 Tools, or formal change management experience.
  • Prior management or supervisory experience.
  • Continuous process improvement background.
  • Experience in a high growth, small or mid-size manufacturing company.
