About the position

Sonder Health Plans is seeking a skilled Corporate Trainer to design, deliver, and enhance training programs for new and existing employees. This role is essential for ensuring that the team is knowledgeable about Medicare Advantage products, compliance standards, customer service excellence, and company policies, supporting Sonder's mission of providing high-quality, accessible health insurance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement engaging, up-to-date training materials for onboarding, product knowledge, customer service, and compliance.
• Conduct comprehensive onboarding sessions for new hires on company policies and Medicare Advantage offerings.
• Offer ongoing training sessions and workshops to keep team members informed on policy changes and industry standards.
• Ensure all training materials comply with Medicare Advantage and insurance industry standards.
• Educate employees on Sonder's specific benefits, including special needs plans and unique offerings.
• Assess the effectiveness of training programs and revise content to improve knowledge retention.
• Work closely with department heads to identify training needs and create targeted programs.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience as a corporate trainer or in a similar instructional role, ideally in the health insurance or healthcare industry.
• In-depth understanding of Medicare Advantage plans, health insurance regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in training software and tools, excellent verbal and written communication.
• High attention to detail, ability to work independently and collaboratively, flexibility, and a passion for continuous improvement.
