About the position

The Corporate Trainer at Education At Work (E@W) is responsible for developing and implementing training strategies and curricula aimed at enhancing staff performance and ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction. This role focuses on onboarding new hires, continuous professional development, and fostering best practices within client programs. The trainer will work closely with internal departments to meet key performance indicators and utilize actionable data for continuous improvement. This position is in-person at the Salt Lake City office and is seasonal, ending on April 30, 2025.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver comprehensive new hire onboarding programs and ongoing professional development for student employees.
  • Develop strategies and solutions based on industry best practices and data analytics.
  • Utilize engaging instructional techniques such as role playing, peer interaction, and e-learning.
  • Analyze student employees' skills and record findings for improvement.
  • Monitor and evaluate calls during on-the-job training to ensure compliance and proper handling.
  • Conduct coaching sessions for new hires to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Update training materials based on quality alerts and compliance issues.
  • Attend calibration meetings to ensure consistency in training curriculum.
  • Accurately report daily activities and maintain key metrics and coaching records.
  • Collaborate with operations and quality leadership to review team performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two to three years of related training experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • At least 2-3 years of customer service or call center experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of existing and emerging training methods and curriculum writing skills.
  • Prior experience in classroom instruction and customer service environments.
  • Ability to analyze data and link training to performance needs.
  • Experience in continuous improvement efforts, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Ability to build rapport with peers and management.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Intermediate knowledge of PC hardware and software.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $45,000 - $50,000 per year.
  • Exempt position under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
