About the position

The Corporate Trainer at CRC Insurance Services, Inc. is responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating training programs to enhance the performance capabilities of staff. This role involves providing internal consultancy to managers and employees, ensuring effective training delivery through various methods, and continuously assessing the effectiveness of training initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum for teammates.
• Collaborate with the Director of Learning and leadership to identify training needs.
• Analyze effectiveness of training and workshops and develop modifications if needed.
• Conduct classroom training, virtual training, internet-based training, and site visits.
• Formulate teaching outlines and determine instructional methods appropriate for the intended audience.
• Design course materials and documents such as handouts, manuals, exercises, and tests.
• Develop or select teaching aids to enhance training materials and overall message.
• Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of training efforts and implement changes as needed.
• Develop and coordinate training schedule based on the needs of the production workforce.
• Provide general training assistance as needed by telephone, via e-mail, or in person.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Three years of insurance industry experience.
• Effective communication (verbal, written, and presentation skills) and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to gain confidence and respect of all levels of management and staff.
• Ability to deal with confidential matters appropriately.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to review information, make decisions, and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
• High empathy skills and understanding of effective teaching methodologies.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
• Current knowledge of technological trends.
• Ability to work extended hours when necessary.

• Previous training in a classroom environment.
