About the position

The Corporate Trainer at SHI is responsible for developing and delivering internal training programs aimed at enhancing the skills and capabilities of employees across various disciplines. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to assess training needs, creating engaging curricula, and utilizing diverse training methods such as in-person, remote, and self-paced learning. The trainer will also evaluate training outcomes and continuously improve content to align with SHI's business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Determine training requirements, create curriculum, and develop content based on business needs.
• Deliver high-quality, effective, and engaging training to SHI leadership and employees.
• Evaluate outcomes of training and update content based on feedback and changing requirements.
• Collaborate with the instructional design team to develop and review course materials.
• Understand SHI's value proposition and core offerings to ensure practical training.
• Manage or deliver training through the SHI Learn platform for tracking and adoption.
• Maintain knowledge of SHI business tools and productivity applications.
• Stay updated on adult learning principles and modern learning technology trends.
• Perform administrative tasks related to training programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Corporate Training or related fields.
• At least 1 year in a Management/Leadership role with Coaching/Mentoring experience.
• Proficiency with content creation tools like SnagIt, Articulate Rise, or Camtasia.
• Comprehensive understanding of Generative AI applications.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 apps.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Sales/Sales Leadership Training.
• Familiarity with adult learning principles and modern learning tools.
