About the position

The Corporate Trainer at Toyota Material Handling of Tennessee, Inc. is responsible for enhancing employee performance, safety, and satisfaction across all branches. This role involves designing and delivering comprehensive training programs to ensure consistent quality, compliance, and support for employee career development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement standardized training materials and processes for employee development across all branches.
  • Oversee onboarding programs for new hires, focusing on specialized training and certification.
  • Collaborate with Safety/HR to maintain safety certifications and ensure compliance with training programs.
  • Assist in defining technician levels and required skill sets for advancement.
  • Conduct ride-along evaluations to identify technical weaknesses and provide targeted training solutions.
  • Work with branch managers to customize training programs while maintaining standardization.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a forklift technician.
  • 3 years of training program development preferred.
  • Intimate knowledge of industry-specific technical skills and certifications.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel to branches as needed.
