About the position

The Corporate Trainer position is a vital role within our organization, responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs tailored to meet the needs of our employees in both corporate and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of recent experience in training, with a strong focus on HR and company policies, leadership development, diversity training, harassment prevention, and interviewing techniques. This role requires a dynamic individual who can effectively facilitate training sessions that enhance soft skills, including customer service and phone etiquette, as well as leadership and team-building exercises. In this position, the Corporate Trainer will utilize various training methodologies and tools to create engaging and impactful learning experiences. Proficiency in training software such as Articulate, Rise, Storyline, or similar programs, along with Adobe Creative Cloud, is essential. The trainer will also be expected to leverage advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook to prepare training materials and presentations. The ability to communicate fluently in both English and Spanish at an advanced level is crucial, as the trainer will be interacting with a diverse workforce. The Corporate Trainer will work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed. This role is not only about delivering training but also about assessing the effectiveness of training programs and making necessary adjustments to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop training programs for corporate and industrial settings.
  • Deliver training sessions on HR policies, leadership, diversity, harassment, and interviewing techniques.
  • Facilitate training on soft skills such as customer service and phone etiquette.
  • Conduct leadership training and team-building exercises.
  • Utilize training software and tools to create engaging training materials.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain records of training sessions and participant progress.

Requirements

  • A minimum of three years of recent experience in designing, developing, and delivering training.
  • Experience in training related to HR/company policy, leadership, diversity, harassment, and interviewing.
  • Proficiency in training software such as Articulate, Rise, Storyline, or similar.
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish at an advanced level in a business environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • A certification in training and development.
  • Bachelor's Degree or currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Current HRCI/SHRM Certification.
