About the position

The Corporate Trainer at United Wholesale Mortgage (UWM) plays a crucial role in developing and facilitating training programs for team members. This position focuses on onboarding, continuous improvement courses, and team-building activities, ensuring that employees are well-equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the mortgage industry. The trainer will collaborate with various teams to identify training needs and update course materials, contributing to a culture of learning and development within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitating onboarding, soft skill, technical, mortgage, and culture-related continuous improvement courses, escape rooms, and team-building activities/events.
  • Providing a high-level overview of the mortgage industry, its structure, and the players involved in creating and maintaining learning successes within the classroom.
  • Being an ambassador for the company culture, pillars, and dedication to training all new team members.
  • Partnering with Training Team leaders and team members to identify and fulfill training needs.
  • Coordinating with various UWM teams to help enroll, register, and track the attendance of current team members in various courses.
  • Collaborating with Training Coordinators and Instructional Designers regarding updating materials as well as solidifying necessary resources for training.
  • Updating and revising materials for courses with new information and content as needed.
  • Contributing to the team with ideas and ways to make content and courses better.
