About the position

The Corporate Trainer at Dover Food Retail is responsible for leading and facilitating training programs at the Hillphoenix Learning Center. This role involves conducting both lecture and hands-on learning activities for various stakeholders, including contractors, customers, dealers, and employees. The trainer will also assist in curriculum development and implementation strategies, ensuring that training materials are accurate and effective. The position requires flexibility to travel across the country for training sessions and a strong understanding of HVAC/R systems, particularly in the supermarket refrigeration industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct both lecture and hands-on learning activities for contractors, customers, dealers, and employees.
• Collaborate with Learning Center team members to be a key contact for the curriculum development process.
• Complete and process thorough evaluations that will be instrumental in the training quality control process.
• Stay updated on industry trends related to Hillphoenix products and field activity.
• Assist with managing the on-the-road training program, including database updates and scheduling.
• Collaborate on course delivery planning and resource allocation, managing inventory of learning assets.
• Manage Learning Center certification programs.
• Produce learning materials.

Requirements

• 10+ years of HVAC/R experience, with 5+ years in the supermarket refrigeration industry.
• EPA Certified Instructor for refrigerant training.

Nice-to-haves

• Technical Certification or Degree with 10 years of HVAC/R experience, with a minimum of 5 years in the supermarket refrigeration industry.
