About the position

The Technical Implementations Manager at Corporate Traveler is responsible for spearheading the implementation of the proprietary Online Booking platform, melon, for the Corporate Traveler brand. This role supports both the US and Canada, ensuring that customer expectations are met from kickoff to launch while continuously improving the implementation process. The position requires a blend of technical expertise, customer service skills, and the ability to analyze and drive efficiencies in site builds.

Responsibilities

• Learning configuration and support for melon, setting up sites, building agency configurations, customer uploads, audits, resolving 3rd level support requests and quality control checks.
• Work with Implementation teams to deliver on customer expectations from kickoff to launch.
• Stay updated on new developments of technology and OBT functionality, updating the implementation process accordingly.
• Analyze opportunities for efficiencies to improve the average time of site builds and design solutions to automate repeatable tasks.
• Participate in additional projects such as K2 Automation and existing client migrations in addition to normal new build requests.
• Provide consistent and stellar service to internal clients as reflected in internal surveys.
• Contribute and participate in team calls.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year in a technical, implementation, or support role with management/leadership experience.
• Basic understanding of Web Services, XML, and current OBTs such as Concur or WhereTo - Apollo, Sabre, or Amadeus GDS experience.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced customer-service focused environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong technical, communication, presentation, and customer support skills.
• Organized, resourceful, and autonomous.
• Task-driven achiever who is thorough and detail-oriented.
• Results-driven with travel industry knowledge.
