About the position

The Corporate Trust Administrator at Zions Bancorporation is responsible for managing and executing all closing-related activities with external parties, ensuring compliance with governing documents, and administering corporate trust and agency accounts. This remote position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex legal documents. The role involves maintaining client relationships, soliciting new business, and coordinating with various bank departments to meet account needs.

Responsibilities

  • Execute all closing related activities with external parties such as Bond Counsel, Financial Advisors, Underwriters, and Issuers.
  • Review and execute all governing documents to ensure compliance with minimum bank standards.
  • Comprehend, interpret, and analyze complex legal documents governing transactions.
  • Administer assigned corporate trust and/or agency accounts completely.
  • Review and analyze indentures of trust and agency agreements prior to acceptance.
  • Initiate required administrative and operating instructions for new accounts.
  • Prepare and submit periodic reports to regulatory agencies.
  • Review agency agreements for adherence to specific provisions.
  • Maintain close contact with clients and solicit new business from current and prospective customers.
  • Coordinate with other bank areas on account needs and resolve problems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in banking, trust administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of direct corporate trust experience.
  • Basic knowledge of corporate trusts, agencies, escrows, and banking.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and math aptitude.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Skilled in account management and customer service.
  • Ability to read and interpret legal documents.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
