Requirements

Responsibilities

• Maintain order and security of inmates in a correctional facility.
• Provide direct supervision of inmates during housing, meals, recreation, and work assignments.
• Employ weapons or force as necessary to maintain discipline and order.
• Work at various posts including armory/key control, housing units, kitchen, medical, and visitation.
• Follow established policies, regulations, and procedures.
