About the position

The Corrections Compliance & Quality Improvement Analyst plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality and compliance of the Agency's corrections programs. This position involves collaborating with leadership teams to identify and implement strategic improvement efforts, ensuring adherence to legal standards and best practices. The analyst will engage in training, data analysis, and ongoing coaching to foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as a change agent responsible for strategic compliance and quality improvement efforts throughout the Agency's corrections programs.
  • Collaborates with facility and program leadership teams on the identification, development, and implementation of ongoing improvement efforts.
  • Consults with facility/department leadership to assess the needs of the program necessary to implement systems of improvement.
  • Documents and shares goals and steps of implementation plans with the Program Quality Improvement (PQI) team.
  • Coordinates with the Staff Development Programming Manager and/or Organizational Development Manager for effective training and mentoring.
  • Utilizes Kohezion for tracking proficiency progress accurately and timely.
  • Evaluates facility operations and implementation with audit standards, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement, staff training/mentoring, and/or Evidence Based Practices implementation preferred.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office Suite and effectively complete data tracking.
  • Experience in database management, statistical software, and project management is a plus.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a driving record that does not preclude coverage by Agency liability insurance.
