About the position

The Correspondence Analyst position is located in the Office of the Executive Director for Operations within the Executive Operations division. This role involves managing correspondence and records, facilitating coordination among various offices, and ensuring effective communication and documentation processes within the agency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage correspondence and records for the Office of the Executive Director for Operations.
  • Administer the Agencywide Document Access Management System (ADAMS).
  • Operate the principal correspondence tracking systems, including the System for Tracking and Reporting (STAR).
  • Coordinate functions with OEDO and SECY staff, as well as other offices and regions.
  • Facilitate effective communication and information exchange regarding administrative matters.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of administrative regulations and policies related to correspondence control and records management procedures.
  • Experience with ADAMS operation and administration.
  • Proficiency in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure for correspondence preparation.
  • Ability to interact tactfully and effectively with individuals at all levels.
  • Experience in a team environment and ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with computer-based software applications and automated information tracking systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with WordPerfect, WORD, Excel, and other software applications for document processing and tracking.
  • Familiarity with government correspondence control procedures and organizational structures.
