About the position

The Corrugator Supervisor is responsible for overseeing one assigned shift of hourly employees in the production of corrugated board. This role involves providing supervision, direction, and leadership in areas such as safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement to ensure that production goals are met effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees in the daily production of corrugated board, including training, planning, assigning, and directing work.
• Evaluate employee performance, reward and discipline employees, and promote safety, quality production, and teamwork.
• Lead and motivate employees by setting an example of superior behavior, attitude, and performance.
• Effectively communicate operational information in both oral and written formats to crew members, other supervisors, plant management, office personnel, and outside customers and vendors.
• Promote and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and other organizational programs and initiatives.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Prior experience in the corrugated packaging industry required.
• Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively is required.
• Willingness to work on off shifts as needed.
