Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the cosmetics department, ensuring high standards of customer service and product presentation.
• Manage inventory levels, including ordering, stocking, and merchandising products effectively.
• Train and mentor staff on product knowledge, makeup application techniques, and customer engagement strategies.
• Develop promotional strategies to drive sales, including events, demonstrations, and marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with other departments such as hair styling, med spa services, and esthetic laser treatments to enhance customer offerings.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, new products, and competitor activities.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the cosmetics area.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail sales management within the cosmetics or beauty industry.
• Strong knowledge of makeup application techniques and cosmetic products.
• Familiarity with salon software for managing appointments and inventory is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing product displays and inventory.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends as needed.

Nice-to-haves

• Skills in hair styling or barbering are advantageous but not mandatory.
• Experience with deep tissue massage or tattooing is a plus for holistic service integration.
