About the position

The Cosmetics Business Manager is responsible for driving the business of a specific beauty brand by focusing on client development and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This role involves creating seasonal sales strategies, achieving sales targets, and leading a team of Beauty Advisors to enhance customer engagement on the beauty floor.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve seasonal vendor sales plan by sharing product knowledge and developing key relationships throughout the store.
  • Attend monthly Business Manager calls to develop strategies to achieve and exceed vendor sales plan.
  • Create a customer-centric mindset at the counter to support cross-sell into their brand by all Beauty Advisors.
  • Actively participate on social media to grow your personal brand and business.
  • Lead a team of Beauty Advisors in targeted outreach efforts to achieve appointment goals for all events.
  • Ensure brand-specific selling ceremonies and daily drivers are consistently offered and demonstrated to all clients.
  • Work with vendors to plan and execute 'at counter' events to drive customer loyalty and acquisition.
  • Utilize SFA clienteling system to build individual sales volume and maintain customer relationships.
  • Continually upgrade product knowledge to drive sales and client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year retail experience, preferably in a client-driven sales environment.
  • Proven leadership skills through development of direct reports.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented.
  • Attention to detail and ability to do product consultations and applications.
  • Tech savvy with the ability to manage and set goals through strategic planning.
