About the position
The Cosmetics Counter Manager at Bloomingdale's is responsible for leading a team of Beauty Advisors to provide exceptional customer service and drive sales both in-store and online. This role focuses on building and maintaining client relationships, ensuring a welcoming and engaging atmosphere, and overseeing merchandise presentation. The Counter Manager plays a crucial role in creating a seamless shopping experience for customers while fostering a collaborative and energetic team environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and supervise a team of Beauty Advisors to ensure excellent service and sales performance.
- Build and cultivate customer relationships to enhance the shopping experience.
- Drive sales through in-store and online channels by utilizing technology effectively.
- Participate in merchandising and operational tasks to maintain store standards.
- Ensure Beauty Advisors are friendly, engaged, and focused on customer needs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 3-5 years of related experience in retail or cosmetics management.
- Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules and procedural manuals.
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
