About the position

The Director of Marketing or Marketing Manager position at a fast-growing high-end cosmetic line is a newly created role aimed at enhancing the company's marketing efforts and driving growth. The vision of the company is to build upon the momentum and success achieved thus far while taking marketing initiatives to the next level. This role will involve the development and implementation of a multi-channel marketing strategy that supports the existing portfolio of retailers and facilitates the rapid expansion of distribution and new product lines. A critical aspect of this position will be to increase trials by new customers and drive customer acquisition for both new and existing products. The selected candidate will focus on building consumer demand through effective marketing initiatives that promote profitable growth. This includes providing leadership across all marketing aspects, including advertising, social media, and public relations. The role will also involve developing the necessary infrastructure to ensure successful product launches and maintaining brand standards in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment, especially given the current lean marketing resources. Additional responsibilities include driving the development and implementation of the company's marketing, corporate communications, and public relations activities. This encompasses maximizing brand awareness, customer acquisition, segmentation, and loyalty. The candidate will be responsible for brand stewardship, guiding the evolution and growth of the company, and formulating product strategies and brand standards with measurable objectives to achieve business goals. Understanding the drivers and barriers in marketing and brand decision-making will be essential. The role also requires overseeing the company's digital strategy, including interactive marketing, analytics, website localization, social media execution, and email campaign management. The candidate will develop actionable consumer insights and compelling marketing frameworks that foster engagement and loyalty. Monitoring the ROI on marketing programs and reporting results to stakeholders will be crucial, as will managing the marketing budget and overseeing the marketing team.
