About the position

The position at FIBA Technologies, Inc. involves overseeing and managing various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in cost records, and supporting the financial reporting process. The role requires collaboration with multiple departments and participation in audits, while also contributing to the integration of a new ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Examine and review cost records ensuring cost data is correct
• Understand transactional activity relating to raw materials, inventory, labor, WIP etc.
• Review the monthly cost of sales process to financial statements
• Manage the monthly billing process for work orders to be closed and invoiced
• Assist in and review month end closing process to financial statement
• Conduct gross profit analysis on completed jobs
• Oversee balance sheet reporting
• Manage and review P&L account transactions
• Be trained in Mas500 accounting system to accomplish duties
• Provide support for multiple audits
• Participate in various analysis projects
• Interface with Sales, Production, and purchasing departments
• Assist management in the integration of a new ERP system
• Assist accounting team with various transactional work as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• 7 plus years in accounting
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Proficient Excel Skills
• Ability to work independently
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Willing to handle transactional work
• Demonstrate competencies in collecting and researching data, identifying and resolving problems, gathering and analyzing information skillfully, demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness, and completing work in a timely manner
