About the position

Guidehouse is seeking a Cost Analyst to support federal customers by developing enterprise cost models, leading fee cost model development, and assisting project management activities. The role involves conducting data analyses, supervising associates, maintaining client relationships, and supporting business development efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop enterprise cost models to allocate direct, indirect, and overhead cost pools for interoffice charging.
  • Lead the development of fee cost models for service agencies to provide accurate costs of products and services.
  • Advise project teams on information that may impact tasks being performed.
  • Assist project managers with project management activities, including status reports and forecasting.
  • Conduct data analyses and survey research.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor associates throughout the engagement lifecycle.
  • Maintain good working relationships with clients to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with business development activities, including proposals and conferences.

Requirements

  • An ACTIVE and CURRENT TOP SECRET federal security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree; OR FOUR (4) years' experience related to cost analysis or financial analysis.
  • ONE (1) or more years' experience related to cost analysis or financial analysis.
  • Experience working independently supporting client-facing roles.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree.
  • Experience in Activity-Based Costing (ABC), fee setting, modeling, and financial analyses.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to work with technical teams and business users.
  • Familiarity with cost estimating models and operations research methods, particularly with statistical data analyses.
  • Experience with ABC software, such as SAS and CostPerform.
  • Experience with statistical-regression analysis software, such as R.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Project.
