In this position, you will collaborate closely with various teams, including Sales, Program Managers, design, purchasing, and technology, to fully understand the project scope and deliverables. You will be responsible for analyzing design drawings and bills of materials to create detailed cost estimates for part costs, tooling, and investments. Additionally, you will provide support during the change management process, ensuring that all changes are managed effectively and efficiently. Capacity and budget planning for current and future projects will also be a key responsibility, as you will need to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate potential risks that could impact project profitability. This role is essential in driving innovation and sustainable value creation for Schaeffler and its stakeholders, contributing to the advancement of how the world moves.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or a related field
  • Degree coursework in supply chain management preferred
  • At least 2 years' experience as a Cost Engineer in a similar industry preferred
