About the position
The Cost Manager role involves providing Estimating, Cost Management, and Consulting Services primarily for Datacenter projects. This position is remote and supports the Cost Management team across the East Region, focusing on delivering excellent service to meet client objectives.
Responsibilities
- Detailed cost reporting
- Construction Estimating
- Contract development
- Development and management of change order processes
- Undertaking monthly progress updates
- Earned value reporting
- Estimate development
- Cost tracking and trend analysis
- Managing and coordinating the activities of other team members
- Implementation of project control procedures
- Interfacing closely with clients
- Invoice validation
- Supporting work breakdown structures
- Monthly accrual calculations
- Supporting internal audits
Requirements
- BA / BS degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related Engineering Field
- Sound working knowledge and understanding of the built environment and construction techniques
- Excellent analytical skills
- Minimum of 3 years' post-graduate experience in Construction Cost Management
- Prior experience in a Cost Consultancy or General Contractor
- Experience with data-center projects is advantageous
