About the position

The Cost/Pricing Analyst III position at Chenega Military, Intelligence & Operations Support (MIOS) involves supporting the Department of the Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office by providing expert advice and guidance on cost and pricing issues related to government contracts. This role requires extensive knowledge of federal and DoD acquisition policies and involves evaluating contract price proposals, managing complex acquisitions, and serving as a technical expert in pricing-related matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide counsel to procurement personnel regarding technical issues and pricing advice.
• Assist Contracting Officers in determining cost objectives based on sound pricing principles.
• Act as the primary cost/price analyst on complex contracting issues.
• Serve on teams to address specific pricing issues as needed.
• Review and evaluate contract price proposals for compliance with laws and regulations.
• Conduct analytical evaluations of proposals to assess reasonableness and accuracy.
• Manage significant agency acquisitions involving diverse supplies and services.
• Evaluate technical and audit reports to determine cost elements and justified exceptions.

Requirements

• Master of Art/Master of Science/Master of Engineering (MA/MS/ME) degree required.
• 10+ years of relevant DoD/IC or industry work experience, with at least 2 years in an SAP and/or SCI environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and classified accounting systems (Momentum preferred).
• Active TS/SCI clearance and valid driver's license.

• Advanced working knowledge of Excel.
• Ability to work under aggressive schedules with demanding performance requirements.
• Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS.
• Ability to complete a government Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph (CI Poly).
