About the position

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to work full-time in a school setting near Oklahoma City, OK. The role involves collaborating with district occupational therapists and other COTAs to provide support for students throughout the school year, starting ASAP and continuing until May 23, 2025. The position requires a valid COTA certification and prior experience in a school environment is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with district OT's and COTA's to support students' occupational therapy needs.
• Assist in implementing therapy plans and interventions as directed by supervising therapists.
• Participate in meetings and discussions regarding student progress and therapy goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.

Requirements

• Valid COTA certification required.
• Minimum of 1+ years of occupational therapy experience required.
• Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with children in an educational environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
