About the position

The Chief Impact Officer at the Council for the Homeless (CFTH) is a visionary leadership role focused on creating meaningful change in the community by addressing homelessness. This position involves strategic planning, overseeing program implementation, and leading a dedicated team to ensure that CFTH's mission aligns with community needs. The Chief Impact Officer will also represent CFTH with partners and stakeholders, advocate for individuals experiencing homelessness, and promote programs through various media engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with CFTH strategic planning in alignment with agency goals and community need.
  • Oversee program and services implementation and evaluation, including hiring, orienting, training, and supervising program managers.
  • Oversee and monitor partner agency performance as it relates to funding and coordinated entry.
  • Ensure programs align with the organization's mission, goals, and strategic plan.
  • Lead strategic program initiatives while assisting with the development and management of program budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Assist with program and grant proposals and reporting, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Represent CFTH with partners and stakeholders as well as other events that align with the agencies mission, vision, and values.
  • Collaborate with, support and effectively guide partner agencies to leverage strategic campaigns and leverage resources.
  • Promote CFTH programs through media engagements and public speaking.
  • Advocate for the needs and rights of individuals experiencing homelessness.
  • Utilize best practices that include trauma informed care, motivational interviewing, and person centered holistic practices.

Requirements

  • Master or bachelor's degree in social services or an equivalent of 6 years of experience required.
  • Experience supervising managers and/or supervisors.
  • Experience developing and implementing effective programs.
  • Valid driver's license and access to automobile required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Clark County resources and agencies available to the homeless population preferred.
  • Knowledge of coordinated entry and assessment best practices and requirements preferred.

Benefits

  • Starting salary of $77,346 - $85,081 per year, with a full salary range of $77,346 - $100,549 per year.
  • Bi-lingual pay differential.
