About the position

As Counsel on the U.S. Regulatory Change Management (RCM) team, you will be responsible for understanding and analyzing compliance and regulatory obligations across various operational areas. This role involves conducting legal research, reporting findings to key stakeholders, and managing regulatory change projects to enhance compliance programs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and concise impact analysis of U.S. legislation and regulatory activity.
  • Build relationships with partners in Compliance, Regulatory Legal, and other key departments.
  • Enhance program effectiveness and efficiencies related to regulatory compliance.
  • Understand the potential impact of legislation and regulatory activity on assigned areas.
  • Exercise sound legal judgment in compliance matters.
  • Demonstrate leadership in managing regulatory change management projects.

Requirements

  • Law degree from an accredited law school.
  • 4 years' experience in law, preferably in regulatory agencies or legislative bodies.
  • License to practice law in at least one state.
  • Strong compliance and legal experience.
  • Proficient in legal research tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
  • Self-starter with organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
