About the position

The Assignment Management Counselor at Weichert Workforce Mobility plays a crucial role in facilitating global relocation and assignment management for client employees. This hybrid position involves case management, customer satisfaction, service delivery, and supplier coordination, while also supporting business initiatives. The counselor acts as the main point of contact for assignees, ensuring their needs are met throughout the relocation process and maintaining high service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact regarding the assignee's relocation process and assignment policy application.
  • Oversee the delivery of relocation and assignment services to assignees and their families.
  • Create, develop, and administer relocation and assignment processes according to client specifications.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to establish assignee requirements and address custom needs.
  • Coordinate and manage the delivery of third-party services to assignees by Weichert Affiliates and external suppliers.
  • Provide ongoing advice and support to client contacts and assignees throughout the assignment period.
  • Prepare assignment letters of understanding (LOU) in accordance with client policies.
  • Review and evaluate exception requests and provide solutions to clients.
  • Manage costs and expenses related to relocation and assignment management deliverables.
  • Measure customer satisfaction and ensure completion of Customer Service Evaluations.
  • Document conversations, exceptions, and correspondence accurately and timely.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for internal and external distribution.
  • Assist with the training or onboarding of new team members.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Real estate license preferred within one (1) year of hire
  • Global Mobility Specialist (GMS) certification preferred
  • One (1) to four (4) years of customer service experience preferred
  • Previous experience in assignment counseling strongly preferred
  • Direct client interaction and advisory experience required
  • Fluency in a foreign language(s) preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and fractions

Nice-to-haves

  • Fluency in a foreign language(s) preferred
  • Global Mobility Specialist (GMS) certification preferred
