About the position

The Count Team Member position at Hollywood Casino Morgantown is a part-time role focused on the collection and counting of cash and tickets from various gaming machines. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of cash handling and compliance with gaming regulations, contributing to the overall profitability and guest satisfaction of the casino.

Responsibilities

• Collect and count slot cash boxes from the gaming floor.
• Count drop boxes and other associated gaming revenues.
• Perform functions of counting, sorting, strapping, racking, transporting, and recording all funds in the count operation.
• Maintain proficiency in operation of all programs and equipment used in the drop and count process.
• Accurately report count results.
• Open slot machines and remove cash boxes, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Complete daily maintenance of all Count Room equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of prior work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous money handling experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests and regulatory agencies.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from employees and guests.
• Basic computer knowledge; competent in Microsoft Office applications.
• Must qualify for a license with the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission.
