About the position

The Counter and Inside Salesperson role involves assisting customers both in person and over the phone, managing order entries, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely service. The position also includes generating new sales and business through various sales initiatives and goals, with additional responsibilities in the warehouse and delivery when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Create Sales Register, pull material from the warehouse, and fill the order
• Keep counter area and displays clean, stocked, and neat at all times
• Assist in maintaining the entire location in a clean and orderly fashion
• Answer sales calls and complete orders over the phone
• Maintain current customer base
• Meet established monthly sales goals
• Communicate and cooperate with outside sales force and/or other departments
• Timely follow-up on all customer orders, quotes, and materials
• Maintain up-to-date awareness with new and existing products and services

Requirements

• Sales experience: 1 year
• Customer Service experience: 1 year
