About the position

The Counter and Inside Sales Associate at Consolidated Electrical Distributors is responsible for assisting customers both in-person and over the phone, processing orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role also involves generating new sales through initiatives and goals, and may require working in the warehouse and making deliveries as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in person and over the phone
• Enter orders into the system
• Review and pull orders for customers
• Generate new sales/business through sales initiatives
• Maintain a clean and organized counter area and displays
• Answer sales calls and complete orders over the phone
• Maintain current customer base
• Meet established monthly sales goals
• Communicate and cooperate with outside sales force and other departments
• Follow up on all customer orders, quotes, and materials in a timely manner
• Stay updated on new and existing products and services
• Make deliveries using a light van or delivery truck as needed

Requirements

• 1 year of sales experience
• 1 year of customer service experience
