Counter Attendant

About the position

The Counter Attendant at Church Street Depot LLC is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced food service environment. This role involves preparing and serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate should be passionate about the food and beverage industry and committed to providing excellent service to customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers upon arrival and provide information about Church Street Depot and outstanding customer service.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and kitchen.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Handle cash and card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons.
• Stock service areas with necessary supplies in accordance with company standards.
• Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for handling cash.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry heavy items for extended periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food Handler's certificate a plus but not required.
