About the position

As a Counter Salesperson at Consolidated Electrical Distributors (CED), you will play a crucial role in assisting customers both in person and over the phone. Your primary responsibilities will include entering orders into the system, reviewing and pulling orders, and ensuring that customer needs are met in a professional and timely manner. This position requires a blend of sales and customer service skills, making it essential for maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in person and over the phone.
• Enter orders into the system.
• Review and pull orders for customers.
• Ensure customer needs are met in a professional and timely fashion.
• Create Sales Register and pull material from the warehouse.
• Fill orders and write manual Cash Sale Receipts for cash customers.
• Accept Cash Sale returns and process refunds.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area and displays.
• Inform the Purchasing Agent when item inventory is low or sold out.
• Answer sales calls and complete orders over the phone.

Requirements

• 1 year of sales experience
• 1 year of customer service experience
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to communicate in English
