About the position

The Counter/Inside Sales Associate at Johnstone Supply of Chesapeake is a full-time role focused on delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. The position involves assisting customers with their needs, processing orders, and contributing to store sales while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Training will be provided to ensure associates are knowledgeable about the HVAC/R industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers with a friendly greeting
• Maintain and update customer profiles
• Provide award-winning customer service over the phone and at the counter
• Increase store sales by offering recommendations & additional products
• Efficiently process orders, schedule deliveries, and prepare quotes
• Restock and organize the showroom area to keep it neat and welcoming
• Source the industry's largest selection of manufacturers to find the solution your customer needs

Requirements

• Basic computer experience
• Great communication & people skills
• Ability to prioritize and complete tasks on time
• A passion for problem-solving and helping others
• High School Diploma or GED/high school equivalent
