About the position

The Counter Sales Associate at U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. (USESI) is responsible for assisting customers with their orders and inquiries at the counter, via email, and over the phone. This role involves pricing small projects, processing orders, and tracking them efficiently in the computer system. The associate will also engage in general warehouse duties and contribute to expanding the customer base and increasing sales profits.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the counter, via email, and phone.
• Handle small project pricing and order processing.
• Quote, place, and process orders effectively.
• Proactively track orders in the computer system for customer and processing efficiency.
• Expand customer base and grow counter sales and profits.
• Perform general warehouse work including receiving and putting stock away, pulling will calls, and inventory preparations.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• 1+ years of sales experience, preferably in the electrical industry.
• Ability to multi-task effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team-first attitude with a commitment to punctuality.
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
