Mars Electric is seeking a full-time Counter Sales Representative for its Bedford location. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, assisting customers with product selection, and maintaining strong relationships with both customers and internal associates. Responsibilities

• Consult and work with in-person or phone customers to determine their needs.
• Build ongoing relationships with customers and internal associates.
• Sell products and services, offer add-ons, and up-sell products that may benefit the customer.
• Suggest alternative products when a requested product is not available.
• Coordinate with warehouse and delivery for status on orders ensuring delivery/availability commitments to customers.
• Maintain open communication with other branch employees on matters impacting customer service, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Understand and follow company policy on pricing.
• Continuously develop knowledge of Mars product inventory, its location in the facility, and sales techniques.
• Participate in training sessions, skill building, and professional development.

Requirements

• Mid-level experience in sales or customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
• Knowledge of electrical products and inventory management.
