About the position
The Counter Sales Associate at NorthEast Electrical is a full-time role focused on providing exceptional customer service to retail and professional clients. This position involves taking orders, managing stock, and maintaining the store's appearance, all while contributing to a supportive team environment. Responsibilities
- Taking orders over the phone, in person, and via Digital Tools.
- Entering stock, special, direct, and back orders as required.
- Providing customers with information and demonstration of online solutions for fast and easy ordering through the website.
- Supporting the Branch Manager in transferring, warehousing, receiving, and shipping of stock and special material.
- Displaying and stocking material in the counter and showroom, and participating in promotions as they occur.
- Performing other duties as required or directed by the Manager.
Requirements
- Strong computer skills with emphasis on Excel and website navigation.
- Strong customer service and communication skills; experience in electrical or construction is helpful.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a team setting.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 75lbs using manual and PIT equipment.
