About the position
The Counter Sales position at United Refrigeration Inc. is a full-time role focused on supporting the growth and expansion of the HVACR wholesale distribution business. The ideal candidate will have a genuine enthusiasm for sales and customer interaction, providing knowledgeable assistance to HVAC contractors and ensuring accurate order execution.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and answer phones promptly and courteously.
- Provide professional and knowledgeable assistance to customers by identifying and fulfilling their product requests and answering technical questions.
- Execute customer orders, requests, and other services accurately and timely.
- Use a computer system for product research, invoicing, credits, returns, and product procurement/replenishment.
- Break down and put away stock.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment inside and out.
- Attend work regularly and punctually, including Saturday hours from 8 am to 12 pm every other Saturday.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration, preferably with 3 years of experience/knowledge in the field.
- Multi-year sales experience in HVAC/R or other industries.
- Ability to move, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Prolonged standing, bending, stooping, stretching, and ability to climb ladders.
- Manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination for data input.
