About the position

Accentuate Staffing is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Counter Sales/Inventory Associate to join a dynamic plumbing supply company. This full-time position involves assisting customers, processing sales transactions, and managing inventory in a fast-paced environment. The role is temp to hire and offers an opportunity to work closely with customers to provide the right solutions for their plumbing and electrical needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide product information and recommendations based on customer needs.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales counter and showroom.
• Pull orders from the warehouse.
• Stock and replenish inventory as needed.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints both in person and over the phone.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in counter sales or customer service, preferably in the Plumbing and HVAC industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale and order entry systems.
• Knowledge of Plumbing and HVAC products is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items, as needed.
• Previous experience operating forklift is a plus.
