About the position

Ferguson is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to provide exceptional customer service and support in processing orders and maintaining store standards. This role is essential in ensuring customer satisfaction by advising on product selection and managing order fulfillment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needs
• Processes orders via order management system
• Operates cash registers and follows established cash handling procedures
• Prepares and stages orders for customer pick up
• Maintains store appearance and merchandising standards as advised
• Ensures that merchandise is restocked and placed in their respective areas
• Maintains a safe working environment including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

Requirements

• 0-3 years of experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of products is preferred
• General digital literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise
• General math skills to allow for cash accounting
• An ability to learn is a must have!
• Excellent decision making and communication skills
